Study Abroad Programs
The TWU Study Abroad Program offers cross-cultural educational experiences, emphasizing visual and performing arts, business, history, language, nursing, literature and comparative cultures. Faculty-led, credit courses to other countries are offered in selected academic components throughout the University at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
In addition to the faculty-led courses, TWU provides opportunities for students to live and study for an entire fall or spring session in England, Japan, France, Italy, South Africa, Spain, and other countries. Interested students should seek permission from their academic units prior to applying for these experiences. Academic credit earned in a semester Study Abroad program cannot be applied toward a degree program unless it has been approved for inclusion in the student’s degree plan.
Texas Woman’s University also offers the International Education Fee Scholarship to provide funding for student Study Abroad opportunities. For more information on Study Abroad at TWU, contact the Pioneer Center for Student Excellence at 940-898-3755 or email@example.com .
