Graduate students at TWU have a wide selection of technology resources available which may be utilized to support their graduate studies. The Student Technology Assistants and Resources Program (STAR) is a uniquely designed service led by student employees experienced in communicating technical information and providing troubleshooting support for both hardware and software for students. The High Performance Computing (HPC) system gives students access to cluster computing sources for data-rich studies. Pioneer Portal gives students a hub for student information and announcements. Blackboard is the main Learning Management System which houses much of the students’ course content, along with assignments and announcements from professors. Students also have access to email, online data storage, wireless internet, computer labs with specialized software, printing services, and student software discounts, all of which are located at each of the Denton, Dallas, and Houston campuses.
