The Former Students Association
The TWU Former Students Association (FSA) was organized in 1905 by the first alumnae of the College of Industrial Arts (CIA). Its mission was and still is to support the university, its students and alumni. FSA is a membership-based non-profit organization and offers new graduates one free year to use its benefits and to network with other members. Card-carrying members receive privileges of free parking on the Denton and Dallas campuses, and Wellness Center, discounts to hotels and car rentals, Denton Campus bookstore and theater performances. Affinity programs with Bank of America and Liberty Mutual give financially to FSA each time TWU alumni take advantage of their services.
FSA organizes the annual Reunion Weekend events in April, to honor alumni from College of Industrial Arts, Texas State College for Women and TWU. FSA also offers many scholarships to current students. Please visit the FSA website for more details and applications. Other information on TWU exclusive memorabilia available for sale, TWU FSA’s geographical and academic chapters, upcoming events and opportunities to get involved can be found on the website. FSA is located in the Alumni House or call 940-898-2586 for more information.
