The Counseling and Family Therapy Clinic , housed within the Department of Family Sciences , is open to the public and provides counseling for families, couples, groups, and individuals, both adults and children. Clinical services are provided by doctoral and master’s level family therapists and master's level counselors within the department. All therapists and counselors are supervised by a clinical director and clinical faculty who have earned doctoral degrees, maintain licensure in a mental health discipline, and have more than 100 years of combined experience helping people overcome problems.
The Clinic provides an atmosphere of respect and dignity where each individual and family can be effectively served. Fees are assessed on a sliding scale in order that counseling, education, and preventive services are affordable for every family, couple, and individual.
