General Description

The Bachelor of Arts degree in government offers a sound basis for proceeding to graduate programs in the field, to law school admission, or to careers in public service. In addition, this degree provides a background for professional preparation in the following fields: library science; teaching at middle school, secondary school, or college level; work with archives, historical associations, museums or national parks; journalism; criminal justice administration; legal assistance; law school; foreign service, non profit, administrative, federal and state civil service.
