Post-Baccalaureate RN MS Program
The Post Baccalaureate RN to MS Program offers registered nurses holding an associate degree or diploma from a nationally accredited nursing program and an earned bachelor’s in another field an opportunity to obtain a Master of Science degree with a major in nursing.
Specialty tracks include:
- Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner
- Nurse Educator
- Nursing Administration
- Nursing Health Systems Management
- Clinical Nurse Leader
Students complete 10-15 semester credit hours of undergraduate coursework and 11-13 semester credit hours of graduate course work before progressing to unconditional admission to the graduate program. This program reduces the number of baccalaureate semester credit hours by 12 (4-5 courses dependent on the Master’s track selected). This program allows the student to begin the Master’s Program after 2 semesters with 11-13 graduate semester credit hours completed. Depending on the master’s specialty chosen, the master’s degree can be completed in an additional 3-6 semesters of full-time study. Students may elect to complete the program on a part-time basis.
