Air Force and Army ROTC Programs

TWU Army ROTC

TWU students may participate in the Army ROTC program to prepare for a career as an Army officer. Active-duty Army personnel provide all classroom instruction and program administration.  The first two years of the program are open to any TWU student without any commitment to the Army.  Students interested in enrolling can contact the program cadre by email at armyrotc@twu.edu or by phone at (940) 898-3163.  For more information, visit the TWU Army ROTC website.

Air Force ROTC (through UNT)

TWU students may participate in the University of North Texas Air Force ROTC program to prepare for a career as an Air Force officer.  Active-duty and reserve Air Force personnel provide all classroom instruction and program administration.  Students register for courses through TWU and classes meet at the University of North Texas campus. Students interested in enrolling in Aerospace Studies courses should first contact the UNT Air Force ROTC program.

Students who complete either program with at least a bachelor’s degree are awarded commissions as U.S. military officers.
