Preparing students for a challenging and changing world is the goal of the School of Management. The academic requirements for each degree provide competency in a concentrated discipline of study that is augmented by a program of studies in general education. In addition, a focus on diversity, teamwork, ethics, and communication are incorporated into most business courses. As a result, the completion of a business degree program builds a firm analytical and conceptual background that will enhance a career in a dynamic business and social environment. Also, students may gain experience in business prior to graduation by enrolling in the Cooperative Education program through the School of Management when they have reached their sophomore year.
