University Advancement

The Division of University Advancement includes Alumni Engagement, Communications, and Donor Relations offices. University Advancement is responsible for fundraising programs in the areas of annual gifts, capital gifts, program, and university support. University Advancement collaborates with the Texas Woman's University Foundation to support and further the mission of the university through the acceptance, investment, and stewardship of gifts from alumni, family, friends, corporations, and foundations.

The generosity of university donors further enhances and supports the work of our faculty, students, and administrators through funding for scholarships, professorships, fellowships, research, equipment, and programmatic support.

The Director of Annual Giving coordinates the Senior Giving Challenge—an initiative available to under/graduate students during the semester and immediately preceding their graduation. This annual challenge encourages students to give back to the university through a financial contribution. Students who donate an amount equal to or greater than their graduation year (for example, 2022 graduates would donate $20.22) will receive a legacy cord to wear during their commencement ceremony.

The Division of University Advancement is located in the UA Building on the Denton campus at 1605 N. Bell Ave. Questions may be directed to or (940) 898-3863.
