Mary Eleanor Brackenridge Student Union

The Student Union is named for Mary Eleanor Brackenridge, a strong advocate for the advancement of women. She was appointed to the first Board of Regents and was president of the Texas Woman Suffrage Association from 1913 to 1914.

The TWU Student Union provides facilities and services intended to meet the needs of a diverse campus community. The following offices are located in the Student Union on the Denton campus: Center for Student Development, Campus Alliance for Resource Education (CARE), Office of the Vice President for Student Life, Student Government Association,  Volunteer Services, Greek Life, and the Student Union Board.  

Other services in the Student Union on the Denton campus include dining locations, TWU Bookstore, cyber cafe, game room, lounge space, locker rentals, and a lactation room.
