Bachelor of Arts in English (Literature)
Website: https://twu.edu/english-rhetoric-spanish/undergraduate-program/
The Literature track offers students the opportunity to explore literature that represents a wide range of genres and eras. Students take courses in American, British, and World literature, as well as courses in specific genres and diverse perspectives. The most versatile of the three tracks, the literature track allows students to choose two upper-division electives from any available English courses. Students may choose additional literature courses or choose courses from the Writing and Rhetoric track. This track prepares students for careers in the fields of writing, editing, publishing, and non-profit work (among others), as well as for graduate-level studies in literature and professional programs such as those in library science and law. While many courses for this program may be taken online, it is not an online degree.

- Communicate effectively to diverse audiences using a range of media and technology.
- Organize, synthesize, and evaluate the credibility of information, such as, but not limited to, a range of academic and non-academic sources, and use this knowledge to make ethical decisions.
- Use effective research strategies to inform argument-driven projects.
