Time Limits

All requirements toward a doctoral degree, excluding a completed master’s degree, must be completed within a period of eight consecutive calendar years from the date doctoral semester hour credit is first earned.

Any course outside of a completed degree included in the plan will start the eight-year clock.

Graduate credit hours older than six years may not be used toward any post-baccalaureate or postmaster's certificate program.
